My Daughter's DLSS Fund-Raising Carnival

DLSS was raising funds for their renovations of their school in Yee Tee. But the carnival was held in the holding-school at Teck Whye. Typical of most Singapore fairs & carnivals....there was much food & drinks! Cheers!

Tiong Bahru Estate /2011

Last year, I visited an older housing estate, Tiong Bahru, of Singapore. Took some pics to remember cos who knows, in years to come, our Government may just demolish the estate for the sake of “prosperity” (ie to build more condos & recreation areas).

Botanic Gardens Nov 2011

  My family & I visited the Botanic Gardens, after attending Church services in the morning, and were surprised by the many new additions to the garden. There is the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden & Health Gardens. We plan to visit the other parts of Botanic Gardens during school holidays in Dec....Cheers!

Merlion, Esplanade & Marina Bay Sands Sep 2011

   I visited our pride & joy...the Merlion & Esplanade...& the new hotel cum casino...the Marina Bay Sands (MBS). You know something, the 1st & 3rd places are more popular with tourists too than the Esplanade, which attract mainly the theatre crowd.

Boolywood Veggies 10 Sep 2011

   My family & I joined a church "Family Day" trip to visit the Hay Dairies Goat Farm and Bollywood Veggies.  I have posted some photos of the latter venue cos it was interesting & especially the lunch we had...with the organic vegetables & Warrior Curry...oops, I forgot to take pics of the delicious food...was too busy eating (yummy). SMURFS Movie

My family & I went to view the movie "SMURFS"...at the start of the one-week school holdays...it brought memories to me when this cartoon characters was shown on local TV many, many years ago when I was just schooling, mind you. My daughter loved it also & I'm sure it'll hold sweet memories to her in the future.

Duxton Pinnacles

 No, we are not residing at the Duxton Pinnacles...high-priced HDB apartments...with great viewers platforms to get city views at the 55 level. You only need to pay S$5 dollars only per person, and it's free for residents.

Woodlands Waterfront

  Want to escape from the hectic and busy-ness of life and want a quiet relaxing stroll/walk near Malaysia...visit the Woodlands Waterfront. Take Bus No 856 at the Woodlands bus interchange at Causeway Point Shopping Centre. A word of caution...it may attract people during the weekends & Public/school holidays. Cheers!

NSAD Cohesion in Changi (Jun 2010)

  I did not take any pics of people in this NSAD Cohesion, in which I was in the organising comittee, cos I find the scenries more beautiful and relaxing than watching people gathering out of duty and without sincerity. Cheers!

John Little Co's Malacca Trip (2010/11)

  We, staff of John Little (JL), went on a holiday trip to Malacca...a deserving R&R, to recover from the many sales promotion stress & hardwork! Btw, I was no longer working in JL but I really enjoyed meeting up with my friends and ex-colleagues for this holiday. Cheers!

Closure of KTM Tg Pagar Railway Station June 2011

   The closure of this station in June 2011, is sad news to Singaporeans, and we hope the government will re-invite this place into a cultural heritage, and not let it be demolished like all the other landmark buildings.
