Lunch at Island Cafe, Tangs shopping centre

On 9 Dec, I gave a lunch at the Island Cafe, Tangs shopping centre, and although the lunch was satisfactory only, the worse was to come later. While waiking at Weelock Place, with Esther, shopping for Christmas, but I had great abdomenal pain & had to take a cab to A&E Dept, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. I spent three days of hospitalization & four days MC.

PeraMakan- Your Nyonya Family Restaurant

My first experience eating Peranakan food, introduced by ORPC Dr (Mrs) Chan & Peggy Chun. It's located at Santa Grand Hotel East Coast, a new boutique hotel in Katong, which has lots of delicious food restaurants & makan-places. Cheers!

Star Vista, near Buona Vista MRT

I visited the newest shopping centre in Singapore, unofficially opened on 17 Sep 12. There lots of restaurant & eating venues but lesser shops & boutiques. I think it should be named newest eating place.Tried the new western restaurant "Morganfields" half-slab of the Hickory Pork Ribs...not too bad, for $24.90, u'll get the set-meal with soup & cold drink! And it was very filling for me, haha. Cheers!

FOSTERS Restaurant, Holland Village

On 15 Sep, I called up Marie (an old church-friend) for a lunch appointment, since Esther & Hannah were going to her parents' house (as part of their regular routine). Marie suggested meeting at Holland Village, and we went to FOSTERS Restaurant for a very good western lunch. I just luv the old English ambience, and the waitress gave good customer service. And did I forget to mention, they serve delicious lunch! Cheers!!

Night Festival 2012

This year's Night Festival is exciting & fun...all held at the Singapore Art Museum (my former secondary school) and the Singapore National Museum...

Esther & I had a wonderful & delicious early dinner at HandBurger in '313 Somerset' Shopping Centre. With a discount Groupon coupon, I paid a reasonable price ie for a meal in Orchard Road. Haha...Cheers to a!!

We had a yummy lunch at PoTeaTo Cafe at Yong Siak St (Tiong Bahru)...a rustic and simple but one with much ambience...Cheers!
