Star Vista, near Buona Vista MRT

I visited the newest shopping centre in Singapore, unofficially opened on 17 Sep 12. There lots of restaurant & eating venues but lesser shops & boutiques. I think it should be named newest eating place.Tried the new western restaurant "Morganfields" half-slab of the Hickory Pork Ribs...not too bad, for $24.90, u'll get the set-meal with soup & cold drink! And it was very filling for me, haha. Cheers!

FOSTERS Restaurant, Holland Village

On 15 Sep, I called up Marie (an old church-friend) for a lunch appointment, since Esther & Hannah were going to her parents' house (as part of their regular routine). Marie suggested meeting at Holland Village, and we went to FOSTERS Restaurant for a very good western lunch. I just luv the old English ambience, and the waitress gave good customer service. And did I forget to mention, they serve delicious lunch! Cheers!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ho Chi Minh City(HCMC), Vietnam

A surprisingly wonderful holiday spent with my family. We stayed in the Nikko Hotel Saigon, which was an enjoyable experience especiaaly the wide spread of it's buffet breakfast. Good experience overall except the time spent in the resort island of Vung Tau. That we were overchaged by a cab-driver who even brought us to a xpensive restaurant for lunch. I think we would have enjoyed it better if we went around the island free & easy like we did in HCMC.
